Elopement Economics: Maximizing Savings Without Sacrificing Celebration

In the era of social media, weddings have evolved into grand celebrations, often with steep price tags. The pressure to create flawless moments has driven expenses skyward, from elaborate table decor to extravagant floral arrangements.

For our 2025 couples, we recommend a budget of $60,000 or more for weddings with 150 guests or larger. This represents a significant increase from pre-COVID times, where weddings typically around $35,000 or more.

Amidst trends of excess and inflation, a refreshing alternative has re emerged: elopements!

At The Andrews Farm Events, we've noticed this shifting economic landscape and evolving wedding trends. That's why we're excited to introduce our elopement package, perfect for couples seeking an intimate and budget-friendly celebration. Priced at just $2,500, this package includes a three-hour window of enchantment, seating for up to 20 guests, restroom facilities, and a rain plan setup. Our streamlined timeline begins at 3:00 PM when the bride arrives, accompanied by essential vendors who ensure a seamless ceremony setup within 45 minutes. The ceremony starts at 4:15 PM, followed by photos and a poolside reception for guests to toast the newlyweds.

As the event concludes at 6:00, we suggest the wedding party continue the celebrations at a nearby restaurant for a seated dinner or gather at a local brewery to share the joy of their new marriage with more friends.

What other expenses should you expect to have?

  • Planner: This will range anywhere from $1,000 up to $10,000 depending on what type of event you are wanting. If you would like to book The Andrews Farm Events to plan your elopement, we offer these services starting at $1,500.

  • Flowers: You can keep this as simple as you want, from no flowers to just bouquets or going all out. I would recommend having a budget of $250-$10,000.

  • Music: Do you want to have music playing at your ceremony? We like to recommend strings or a live vocalist. This price can vary anywhere from $200+.

  • Photographer: We think a photographer is key to capturing your special event and would recommend having one. This pricing could be anywhere from $1,000 to $8,000.

  • Videographer: This pricing could be anywhere from $1,000 to $8,000.

  • Bartender: If you choose to have more than one drink per person or specialty drinks, then we do require you to get a bartender. This price varies.

  • Food Vendor: If you are wanting to be more price-sensitive, we recommend bringing in your own pre-made food or cake. For example, a meat and cheese board or a vegetable platter. If you are wanting something more elaborate, you can also bring in one of our food vendors.

  • Shuttles: If you are wanting to provide transportation for your guests, it is also a good idea to think about a shuttle service.

  • Rentals/Decorations: The chairs for the ceremony are included, and you do not need to get any additional furniture. Depending on what you are wanting, there could be some items like a specialty bar or welcome sign that you might want to get.

  • Officiant: This could be anywhere from $0-$500 depending on who you are using.

Embrace simplicity and savings with our elopement package at The Andrews Farm Events.
